I have 20 years of experience in
urological practice and I am happy to see patients with any urological
problem. On South Terrace at our accredited Day Surgery and with St.
Andrew’s Hospital nearby I am able to diagnose and treat all that seek
help.
I am the head of the Urology Department at Adelaide’s largest teaching
hospital, The Royal Adelaide Hospital. With the University of Adelaide
Department of Surgery, I run a team of researchers offering trials of new
drugs and new techniques. In this area I have a special interest in male
sexual dysfunction.
With the Pickard Foundation donating the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, the Royal Adelaide Hospital is also now able to
offer robotic laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in addition to the already established brachytherapy service. As a result, patients consulting the
specialists at South Terrace Urology have available to them the latest and best options for the treatment of prostate cancer.
After becoming a graduate of St Peter’s College and the University of
Adelaide. I was awarded my fellowship in Urological surgery in 1983. I
studied overseas at the Institute of Urology in London and UCLA Medical
Centre, Los Angeles and have particular expertise in the management of
prostate cancer, vasectomy reversal, the treatment of kidney stones and
laser treatment of prostatic obstruction. |
